range research questions
-
I just purchased and am trying to figure out all the info in range research and only resource i found was video in russian(i think)?
are there other resources?
my first interest is in the preflop ranges - when I look at the hand grid - what do the number on the grid mean? under each hand on the grid there are 2 number, one in the green and the other i blue?
https://gyazo.com/964fe6a7229fb1b50c21c67743ff9166
I have also been wondering what stat value, and BX means?
Is there a way to get a string or these preflop ranges that I can copy/paste into other programs?
-
I am also wondering how can I filter reports by stakes, and number of players?
-
- Unfortunately, a video about "Range research" is not yet translated into English.
But we have already started work on a new manual. You can already access it by pressing a button "Manual" in the header of our website:
http://help.hand2note.com/update-notes
We will try to fill this manual with new articles as quickly as possible.
-
These numbers on the Preflop Diagram are hand count for Raise(green) and for Call(blue) cases.
-
Stat Value is a value of the stat in percents.
BX - Next actions of the player facing passive action.
B- bet
X- check
You can get more detail information in the following video with English subtitles:
Additional automated statistics on every stat
- There is no a way to get these preflop ranges for export.

You can create a separate profile for NL Cash 4-6 max in Configurator-> Game Types
-
You can create a separate database for NL200.

thanks but i did this:
https://gyazo.com/985148c6da90f6103b4263ff6740ba0b
I hit save and then tried to open range research and it built/load a report but there were no stats? everything works fine with default 3 to 10 players?
Does the range research report include hands played by hero?
Is there anyway I can use filters with the range research report?
thanks

- Please, try to rebuild your stats.
- Range Research builds a report based on all hands played by specified pool of players including hands they are played against Hero.
- You can add any filters in your Popup for Range Research report.

- how do i do that?
2)yes i get that but am i correct in assuming that all the stats are the pools average and not pool+hero averages?
3)ok thanks i will have a look at that
-
one #1 I figured that out :)
For anyone else - on main window hit clear stats, and then hit build stats.
Will I need to do again if I add things to the pop-ups?
thanks

Yes, you are correct. It is the pool average.

You need to do it again every time you create a new stat.
-
thanks
As you suggested above I created different databases for SSNL, MSNL, and HSNL. I can't get the range research report to populate? It shows the correct number of hands has imported, and I also tried the clear stats/build stats but no luck.
please help
I am also wondering if there is a faster way to get support?
thanks

1)i created new DB from here
https://gyazo.com/4fec2db0544d049e2b8c19ade5297f082)i imported all hands and H2N built the stats
https://gyazo.com/ad1a0a46e1e776c401ca7d4c7d905c4d3)i make range research report for all players and now it is missing many hands. I imported ~750k hands and when i look through the report there is no way all those hands are represented?
https://gyazo.com/aad12a32a1fa84fbf5f3ea8b3be6bac5it seems like the range research report should include # hands(the most basic and in some ways most important stat)
4)i just tried a restart of H2N and also noticed that the "players" tab is only showing a few thousand hands? maybe the hands aren't importing correctly? same method of importing worked in my first try at this and when i was watching the import run it showed ~750k hands import?

What method have you used for import?
-
I have tried all 3 - from folders, files, and database.

Archive the folder with the handhistory and send to us by email to support@hand2note.com with a link to your message on the forum.
You can use any convenient file sharing service, for example, http://www.dropbox.com/, if the file exceeds 15MB
