# Syntax for expression stats

• Hi!

I would like to use conditional operator "if" in my expression stats. But I don't know what the syntax is. There is a link from the H2N site:

https://archive.codeplex.com/?p=ncalc

But that didn't clear things up for me :/

Maybe someone can show me an example of how I would go about it?

Let's say I want to filter for number of opportunities for a stat.

Silly example: I want the value of the stat "3Bet" to be 10 if the sample (opportunities) is less than 100, otherwise I wan't the stat to show the actual value of the stat.

if Opps(3Bet) < 100 then 10
else Value(3Bet)

How do I write this as a H2N expression stat?

Thanks!

• Here is a possible syntax:
if(condition, value if true, value if false)

• Great! tytyty

I have been looking at the page you linked to figure out how to do some other stuff. Namely, I wanted the absolute value of a number so was hoping there was something like abs(-1). But couldn't find that so went on to try to just square the number and then take the square root of that. From what I could gather from the link the syntax for square root is Sqrt(4), but that doesn't seem to work in H2N.

Any more pointers? :)

Thanks!

• Mathematical functions are not supported

• Ok, thanks. I can do the same thing anyway. In a slightly more complicated way.
