Failed to open database connection

    I installled h2n software on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.
    While I try to run program this problem occurs:


    I tired to completlt reinstall Hand2Note - clearead app data folders, etc.
    Tried to move from PC with good h2n installation. Turned off antiviruses, windows defender.

    Do you have an idea what can be possibly wrong?

  • thing is that after installation DbServer file didnt exist in folder

    i tried to copy this file from working PC with h2h, but with no sucess

    Try to reinstall Hand2Note and recreate your database.

    Please, follow the next steps:

    1. Check that you have installed all latest updates for Windows

    2. Remove database. By default, it is located in the next folder:

    C:\Users\ <YourUsername>\AppData\Roaming\Hand2Note\h2ndb

    1. If you need to save your settings, copy Config and Notes folders in a safe place before uninstalling Hand2Note:

    1. Uninstall Hand2Note.

    2. After the uninstallation has finished please delete all files from the install directory (default folder is located in C:\Program Files\Hand2Note).

    3. Install the latest version of Hand2Note:

    Then, run Hand2Note as administrator in the default configuration and check whether the issue persists.
